ABOUT ME I MY STORY
When I was 6 years old I accepted Jesus Christ as my Savior. I understood that I was a sinner and asked God to forgive my sins and I believed in Him.
In High School I developed a heart for missions. My first introduction to missions was when a missionary kid from Peru shared his story with my youth group. A couple years later I went on my first mission trip to the Navajo Indian Reservation. We served at and orphanage full of children who had been neglected and abused. These children desperately needed to know they were wanted and loved by a God who would never leave them. This was the first time I saw the need for the Gospel with own eyes.
My senior year I surrendered to be a missionary. However, I went onto to pursue my own dream after graduating high school. As a young adult I was privileged with the opportunity to serve on the missions board at the church where I grew up. God used that time to remind me of the commitment I made to Him. I moved to Springfield, Missouri to attend Baptist Bible College, and I graduated in 2016 with a degree in Intercultural Studies.
Throughout the years I have been on several mission trips. In 2018 I went on a mission trip to New York City to help missionaries, Ron & Susan Taylor, with Summer Day Camps. While reflecting on my trip and the immense need for the Gospel in New York City, God confirmed in my heart to call to join the Taylor's in New York City.
